This base came with the camper. I replace the wood but kept the aluminum cross bracing. I also added a 3rd longitudinal piece of wood that gave the floor a bit more rigidity. This frame gave me approx 1 1/2" clearance over my truck cab as well as a space where I could store my 50' pedestal cable when/if I end up in a RV park.
