Pirelli seal in place along with a strip of metal (painted) to help improve the sealing 010
2-3 year Pirelli seal weathering. Found on Ebay (Pirelli Rubber Upholstery Webbing, 2" Inch Width, Tan, Sold By The Foot). I purchased 50' with a bit left over 012
Since rot was so bad, in this area on both sides I decided to fiberglass the wooden arch where the metal arches I had fabricated are secured. Butyl tape, Pirelli seal and then a thin piece of metal to hold the Pirelli seal in place. The overall assembly has held up for approximately 2 1/2 years now but on these leading edges the seal is looking a bit weathered.
